My personal testimony.
In 2005, after months of consideration, my wife prayed and asked God for the right time to become pregnant again. He answered, she talked to me and the rest is "the story of the birds and the bees". We got pregnant with our second child! Wow! That was awesome! Our son was happy, we were happy; and even though the baby was being knitted in the womb, we couldn't wait for this child to be born. We were so ready!
I can't remember exactly how many weeks later it was, but I do remember the phone call I received from my wife. Listening to her crying, I knew something had happened. She'd had a miscarriage. I tried my best on the phone to improvise a response, but I started to cry, too.
It is hard to explain how difficult things can be. The thing is: I was going to be a father again, then suddenly I was not. "The Lord knows," I said, "The Lord knows," but I shouted to God: "What happened? I thought we had a deal - I serve You, You protect me! Right?
Where is our baby? Where is our baby?"
As clear as water, I could hear His Voice saying, "Son, your baby is right here next to Me waiting to meet you." In that moment sorrow departed and the tears of pain became sweet. If you have ever lost a baby, you need to know that a child is waiting for you in His presence.
One day I will pass through the Doors and a face that I have never seen before is going to call me "DAD!"
How about that!
"What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, is what God has prepared for those who love him." 1 Corinthians 2:9
