Ain’t Your Money! Designing Stewardship Without the Clichés.
For Bob Bertelsen’s book, the goal was to create a cover that communicated stewardship, peace, purpose, and prosperity without becoming another predictable financial book cover.
The Challenge
Convey a meaningful message about stewardship without making the design too busy, generic, or overly focused on money.
The Strategy
Shift the message away from money and toward access, discovery, journey, provision, and transformation.
The Visual Story
The key became the central symbol, the doorway created focus, the path suggested process, and the harvest field represented provision.
The Result
A cinematic, symbolic cover that stands apart from typical financial or prosperity-themed books.
The final design communicates that stewardship is not simply about money. It is about unlocking a life of peace, purpose, and prosperity through wisdom, responsibility, and divine alignment.
