I'm Overwhelmed

Sometimes it feels like everything is asking for your attention at once.

Responsibilities.

Decisions.

Emotions.

Expectations.

Your mind jumps from one thing to the next, trying to keep up, while your sense of clarity begins to disappear.

Looking for a Blessing

  • For peace
  • For uncertainty
  • For exhaustion
  • For grief
  • For courage
  • For new beginnings
People love this.
Especially in moments when they don’t want advice.
SCROLL DOWN
Pause before you push

When everything feels urgent

Overwhelm often sounds like many voices speaking at once. Before deciding what to do, give yourself permission to hear only what matters now.

Typical thoughts
I don’t know where to start.
Everything feels urgent.
I have too much on my plate.
I can’t keep up.

A simple question for this moment

What actually needs my attention right now?

When overwhelm takes over, the goal is not to do more. The goal is to become less divided.

Choose your next small step

One gentle action is enough.

You do not need to complete all three. Choose the one that feels closest.

01

Narrow Your Attention

Look around and gently notice: three things you can see, two things you can touch, and one thing you can hear.

02

Choose One Thing

Ask yourself, “What is the next small thing I need to do?” Not everything. Just the next thing.

03

Create One Small Space

Choose one small area around you and bring a little order to that space. Five minutes is enough.

You are not required to carry the whole day at once. Return to the piece of life directly in front of you.

Step One

Narrow Your Attention

You do not need to solve what you are feeling. Begin by helping your attention return to the room you are already in.

Try it now Name three things you can see, two things you can physically feel, and one sound you can hear. Move slowly. There is nowhere else you need to be for these few seconds.
Step Two

Choose One Thing

Overwhelm asks you to hold every responsibility in your mind at the same time. You are allowed to set most of them down temporarily.

Try it now Complete this sentence: “For the next ten minutes, the only thing I am responsible for is…” Then give that one thing your attention.
Step Three

Create One Small Space

A little order around you can create a small sense of room within you. The purpose is not to clean everything. It is simply to make one place feel lighter.

Try it now Choose one surface, one corner, or one small pile. Set a five-minute timer. Stop when the timer ends, even if the space is not perfect.
